Studio: Core Stability

What is core stability?

Core stability relates to the tummy muscles, the pelvis, the lower back, the hip muscles and the diaphragm and their collective ability to stabilise the body during movement. The diaphragm is the main muscle of breathing and breathing is important in providing the core stability required for moving and lifting. It is the action of these muscles contracting together on the internal organs in the tummy that provides the vital support to the spine and pelvis during movement.

Advanced core stability is a whole body exercise class for men and women with an emphasis on core muscles, stretching and toning with lots of variety. It’s a great way to work towards your beach body with lots of fun on the way.

Our professional instructor, Paul Boston an ex-international rugby player, understands the vital components of exercising safely, compensating for any injuries or problems participants may have.
